So they got less than 0.2 second difference between stock and stage 2. Can one justify burning premium fuel for that small of a difference? Surely another 50 hp in the mid-range should get a better improvement than that. I don't get it.

To truly know you need to put the car on a dyno. BTW the mph shows the power more than the ET.

On the other hand, it doesn't matter what the dyno says if there is no measurable difference in actual acceleration tests. Something does not make sense here. An additional 25% horsepower in the mid-range should provide clearly improved 1/4 mile times, but the actual times measured showed zero improvement within the margin for driver error. Either the track numbers are bogus, or the dyno numbers do not translate to improved performance in the total car package. Since the only real-world track testing to date (that I have found) shows no improvement to performance by the Stage 1 or Stage 2 tunes, real track tests to determine performance should be done by an independent party.

I ran with 91 octane in CA and 93 octane in Texas and I have not seen any significant power gain. I even have a K&N filter. I work for a Honda dealer and I drove mine and a stock side by side and there's really no difference. Only difference being that there's a higher rev limit so the top speed can get up to 138 mph versus 124 mph stock. But it takes a long time to get to 138 mph. I think it's a waste of $695.
