Tuning stock injectors on 70/30 mix 93 and e85

Post by TheDonsSI »

Just as the title says. I’ve been doing a little tinkering around and was just wondering if I should be safe using this mix on stock injectors. I’ve been doing a lot of reading and research on this topic and have yet to find a solid answer. I have an injen Sri, Meagan soon to be swapped for invidia header, invidia 2.5 inch exhaust, I have the k20z3 venting through a catch can setup, and of course the least important of all stage 3 action clutch and chromoly flywheel. I’m new to the Honda/ Hondata world. I’m used to tuning/ modding LS Chevy vehicles and much much more. I’m not too sure what these things can handle so trying to get and understanding before I break something. Lol.

You will have to datalog and see what the duty cycle is to see if the injectors are maxing out or not.

I know in most cases you don’t want the duty cycle to hit over 80%, mine is showing 76% with a 60/40 mix right now. What is the max or sweet spot on these cars?

If you are below 90% you will be fine.
