Adjusting Open Loop Fuel in AFM tune

Post by TDM »

Car is basically stock. All my tunes to this point have been speed density race tunes or AFM tunes that switch to speed density fuel tables at 74 kPa. No problems. I unchecked the "Use Speed Density (MAP) fuel tables" in the Calibration Fuel section just to see how the car would react. Drove the car and did some datalogging. Sure enough, in open loop WOT conditions, the fueling was lean. Rather than being close to the AFCMD of 12.46 like is does with my MAP tunes, it was over 14. I will simply just go back to my tune that switches to speed density, but where do you " tune" AFM open loop fueling? There are no tables.

Looking at this further..I think I have to recalibrate the AFM above 3.2 volts.
