Ive read many forums that say with drive by wire/dbw that the ECU somehow "learns" your driving style after a few driving cycles? if this is true, I have a few questions:
1)How many driving cycles does it need?
2)What does it learn?
3) How do you get it to learn to drive like a normal car?
4) How do you know that its learned your style?
Hondata, anyone ....if you could chime in that would be great...
DBW- ECU "Learns" your driving style...True or not?
Re: DBW- ECU "Learns" your driving style...True or not?
The ECU will tune some parameters like throttle opening and keep track of other things like catalyst deterioration, but it does not 'learn' your driving style.

Re: DBW- ECU "Learns" your driving style...True or not?
how long does it take for the ECU to do these things?
Re: DBW- ECU "Learns" your driving style...True or not?
About 10 minutes. The 'learning' is very minor, and does not fit with the four point you raised in your first post.
In short, the forums are incorrect.
