2018 Accord 2.0 Sport ==> Stage 1-2 question

Post by AndyEckel »

Hi -
I’m new to this forum and a have a stock 2018 Honda Accord 2.0 Sport with the 10 spd automatic. I’m keen to purchase the FlashPro and dial up the performance a bit with a “Stage 1” and/or Stage 2 calibration but have been unable to determine the answer to this particular question.

Can the FlashPro calibrate the ECU such that it is programmed as follows:

1) Econ Mode (leave as is - never used anyway)

2) Normal Mode (I.e., nether Econ or Sport specified) = STAGE 1 map

3) Sport Mode = STAGE 2 map

I spend most of my everyday driving in Normal Mode and my logic is that Stage 1 makes perfect sense. A little more power than stock, but safe and reliable. When I want an extra boost, select Sport Mode and Stage 2 kicks in.

IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE? Appreciate any insight here. Thanks!

The short answer is no, since most of the tables we change as independent of mode. You'd have to run either stage 1 or stage 2.

Is this still the case, any recent updates to have this feature?
