Stock H22 with RC550cc

Post by deafy »

I tried the Stock H22 450cc calibration and its just not running right... its idling kinda rough and exhaust tone has completely changed... it sounds like my buddy's stage 2.5 WRX... would bigger injectors change the tone of the exhaust even though the AFR is normal? I know most of you are gonna say "get it dyno tuned" but I'm gonna wait till i have turbo installed first then get it tuned.

The calibration you are using was tuned with 440c injectors. You will need to get this car tuned on the dyno to get the correct A/F ratios.

Thats because it has not been tuned. Different sized injectors have different characteristics. You must tune this using a wideband at part and full throttle.

Found the problem... spark plug was wet, wouldn't ignite. Car runs BEAUTIFULLY smooth...
