h22-t backfires at rev limiter

Ever since I stepped from my s100 to s300 when I hit my rev limiter and my car backfires very loudly and hard ... What can I do to help this and make it like a normall revlimiter that wont backfire?

Is it set to do a fuel cut or a fuel and ignition cut?

won't a fuel cut cause a lean condition?
how about dont hit the rev limiter and shift.
