Last year I used NGK BCPR7ES< shooting for over 400HP this year, hopefully, 450ish, with my H22 turbo setup,GT3076R, might use the BKR8EIX this time....new motor built by Golden Eagle and Head built by Bisimoto, what happens is you go with a plug too cold?

Im using a M&W pro10 ignition, this setup eliminates the factory ICM.

Straight from M&W's site.

IGNITION LEADS & SPARKPLUGS
Do not use straight metal wire or carbon ignition leads. For best
performance use leads with a premium quality silicone jacket and spiral
wound metal core construction. Do not use resistor type spark plugs.

Thanks guys.
What plugs are you running wit the M&W kit. I have ran the BK7RE since Hondata insists on using resistor plugs but I'm curious how the non resistor plugs perform with load on high boost.

Using resistor type spark plugs is recommended by Honda as well, as non-resistor plugs cause EM interference and can damage electrical components.

I'll stick to the BRK7E unless all the changes i make does not solve the breakup.

If the issue is EMI is it possible to shield the ecu with shielding material which we use in Aerospace applications. Unless the interference issue is related to the wires going back to the ECU from CDI.

To be more clear. Is the EMI and RF issue due to conduction or radiated interference?

I use this on sensor wires now and it works great. There is material which can be used on the ECU as well which performs well.

So start with the 8s? I was told to start with the 7s.

You can start with 7 I don't think it would hurt. I made 535whp on pump gas w/ 7's before but I would not recommend it. I would go to 8 just to be safe.

Running R5671A-9 when I bought my car on S100. Just upgraded to S300 and am having connection and data logging issues.

Want to verify to match the plug essentially I should go to a BKR9EIX #9 Stock# 2669 correct?

B16A, done it all but sleeves, cams too. 57 trim on ramhorn @ 10 psi, but going to 16psi shortly.

Thanks for your input!!!!
