Datalooging will not stop

Post by SpadeMotorsports »

I am having a problem with SManager continuously datalogging even though I have it set to only log above 5% TPS. My TPS is adjusted correctly and reads 0% off throttle. Is there another factor involved in this?

What do you have the stop conditions set to? You may find it easier to do your datalogging with teh laptop directly connected and not useing the onboard datalogging.

I am logging via the laptop. I have it set at 5% TPS.

You are confusing onboard datalogging with just regualr dataloging via laptop.

In parameters go to the onboard datalogging tab and uncheck the enable onboard datalogging box. When datalogging using the laptop there are only 2 ways to start datalogging and stop it. One way is to click the lightning bolt (start/stop datalog) and the red record button (start/stop recording), the other is F10 for datalog and F9 for record.

I have on-board datalogging disabled. I have never used it.

So are you saying that when datalogging from a laptop, you cannot control the conditions in which it datalogs?

If so, that makes it hard to get accurate values when deceleration is involved.
