AEM wide band controller

Post by smracing »

Can the S300 handle input from the AEM Uego wideband controller? It out puts a 5v signal. According to AEM you run the wideband into the stock O2 signal input wire. I can't find anything in the Help section about setting it up.

The o2 input can only read up to 2.8V Early AEM widebands went to 5V and won't work utilizing the o2 input. Later units were fixed.

However with the s300 you have the option of using the ELD as the wideband input, which allows a 0-5V input.

The unit I have was boxed on Jul 22 2005. I am assuming this is a later unit. The manual that came with it still list their 0-5 volt output scale. Using the ELD, just diable that input and feed the wideband through that? What do I do about the functionality of the ELD?

Once the ELD is disabled, how do I run the DTCs? Through the Smanager software?

Is it the standard wideband, or the guage type?

The guage type will work with the standard O2 input.
