Tip-in fuel question

Post by crluver123 »

In the TPS tab, The tip-in fuel tables (initial and normal) use a variable labelled as "rate".
What exactly do these values do? Does it alter the actual amount of fuel added during tip-in enrichment? Or does it alter how long the tip-in enrichment lasts for? If it's the latter, does a higher value correspond to tip-in enrichment lasting longer, or fading out faster?

It just means that at lower temps there is a lower rate of throttle tip in. Typically you will leave these alone. They are usually only adjusted in rare cases that have unusual operating characteristics.

That is exactly what I don't understand though. The lower rate, is it less overall tip-in or lower duration of tip-in?

It is the rate of throttle tip in in degrees per second.
