Recent purchase Of s300 v3. Pre socket.
sn37852
sofware version 2.7.2.0

Honda b16b with a OBd1 harness which then goes through a conversion harness to OBd2

History car run fine on original honda ecu

However with s300. is doing a strange thing. when the ignition is turn on the IACV in engine bay will humm. I can connect a laptop and can upload a base map however car will just idle at 2000 rpm. Any kind of throttle engine runs rough. I get the impression the map. though uploaded is not running and the only reason it is revving at 2000rpm is because the IACV is powered right open ( so to speak)

I also can not seem to do any kind of data logging..

Any kind of help would be grateful.

This setup is not in a honda vehicle as such. It is in a rally car. It also runs JDM instrument panel which all works correctly.

Also to note. With ignition on I can not connect via Bluetooth either with a laptop or hondata mobile app. However if the ignigtion is on and the usb from laptop is connected, i can pair the mobile app. The apps only tell me the ignigtion is on but no data from sensors.

regards Matt

I would recommend that you try this ECU on a known working vehicle and see if it works as it should. If it does then it means that there is a wiring issue in your vehicle and will need to correct that.

Finally have got it fixed.

In then end the company who sold the ecu replaced with a different s300 board which fixed the problem. Every works as it should.
