B8 sticking

Post by SPOOLIN »

I tried using B8 as my burnout rev limit or data lot and it sticks, i cant turn it off, even when i dont have a wire on it...it wont turn off once enabled. If i disable it obviously it stops.

U have to switch the PSP input high to low to turn it off by default.
It is normally closed circuit on a stock car with pwr steer.
PSP input goes open circuit when switch sees pressure,ie it goes high.
So no wire attached & ecu thinks its seeing pressure...

U are using a ground input arent u?

yeah its a wire fro the pin to a switch and then to ground so the switch just grounds the pin. What setting reverses what you are saying?

Just invert the input(little checkbox next to where u declare the switch input) it will then switch 'on' with high to low input from your switch, assuming your switch is set up normally open.

Or if u have a double throw switch just wire it normally closed.
