Personally,
I would not run a turbo with anything less than 70mm exhaust.... and I'm just guessing(given no brand name turbo given) you may be having less than advertised performance from ebay turbo.

Hi jodin. Thanks for the advice. You are correct it is an unbranded turbo.

I'd say if you're planning on maintaining a boosted car, given a motor is nothing but a HUGE air pump, you could have an exhaust restriction preventing enough flow on the top end... But another variable, is the quality of the turbo you've purchased. In solving problems, it's always the best way to add only one variable at a time to a proven equation... as when problems present themselves, you have the problem isolated to the new variable and a solution will involve that new variable.
If I was in this problem; I would make a claim of the performance issue to the company you purchased from to secure your $$ if it's determined the turbo is the issue... 2nd I would try running an open exhaust and see if it improves, that would isolate the exhaust issue.. as the stock mani is a 3"split which you've reduced down to 2.5.
Not sure why your tuner while on the dyno couldn't troubleshoot this issue?

Thanks jodin.
That's the problem with a complete build though isn't it!? I thought 2.5inch downpipe would be good for 350whp? Yeah the turbo isn't a genuine brand which obviously will have some effect on the efficiency. What do you think of the map itself though mate? Is there anything out of place?
Appreciate the feedback. I'm happy with 300whp I will just have to turn the boost up
