I really like this kal, actually.

The cam timing values seem good, the high cam timing values support the octane, and I like how its not the same on every cam table. Nice&smooth throughout.

How much time did you spend trying different cam angles in the 6000-7400 range on the dyno. I like your transitions through there but wonder if they are the best for max power.

Any pictures of the car/dyno chart, Id love to see it!

(thumbs up)

Hi Keto ,
I did a lot of testing on the road and half a day on the dyno
I got the max power with these cam angles in the dyno .
I always the stock small diameter catback .

I'll try with a 2.5 inch cat back to see the power gain if there !?

You will definitely gain power with a catback, but it wont be much. I imagine the stock catback helps keep the noise level down on that DCRH anyway.

Though if you plan on upgrading your RH in the future, to something like the ClubRSX Header or Hytech or something, I would suggest doing the exhaust at the same time. Power is left to be had!

Now the Euro CTR doesnt have the ITR cams right? Because I noticed in KPro there is a seperate kal for a CTR with ITR cams. I had a USDM RSX-S (k20a2) and put the ITR cams in it (k20a) and noticed a good bump in power. Not much, but good enough for a cheap drop-in upgrade.

That is my car every day
I want to make too much noise

Yes In euro ctr , the camshafts are the same that USDM RSX-S (k20a2)
What you think is the BEST angle cams in rsx-s with stock camshafts and rbc and rh ?

i used to daily drive my RSX-S too. Many miles as well. I had AEM V2 intake, Type R IM and Cams, P2R IMG, Shorty header+High Flow Cat and 2.5" Exhaust. Made pretty good power and was street legal and not too loud. :)

As for cam angles, yours look about right. Especially with your stock exhaust. With a bigger header and exhaust, you would prolly need a couple degrees higher in the middle area (~6k-7400) With Type R cams, you would pretty much add 2 or more degrees to the entire high cam on top of that. I think Type R cams will really help your midrange as you can use higher cam angles and accent that DCRH. And like I said, its a cheap drop in upgrade. (Especially as compared to importing stuff from the States :P )

Here is the final map I used with on my car. I never got around to dyno tuning it, and the timing values are conservative because with my intake and the temperature here, it would knock with any more timing on 93 octane.
