TPS question

I have k-pro, k20A3 engine, RBC intake manifold, i changed over to a type-s T/B, along with all the base T/B sensors. Only one problem i'm haven tho. The TPS is telling me it's 40% open @ idle, yet i see it's closed. When i open the throttle 100% the kManager is telling me it's 0% open, Then my engine almost dies.

Any suggestions on my problem?

I do not believe you can use the Base TPS sensor on a Type S TB as they rotate in opposite directions.

K just came back from taken off the TPS agian and now i see what u mean, didn't really look at it when i took it off the base type. Ty for the help, Next tast is to find a type-S TPS now. do u know any companies that make an aftermarket TPS?

You can buy one through any Hondata dealer.

what about an older k24a4 or a1 (accord/element/crv)? could one of those TPS be interchangeable?

If they rotate the same direction as the throttle body you have then they will work, if not they will not work.

cool the k24a4 accords (early models pre '05 i believe) open the same direction

did you switch the wires on the tps plug? the wiring for a base tps and type-s tps are opposite of each other.

Omni-Power carries new TPS sensors for the typeS TB.
