Hello Everyone,
At this moment my car is at a garage getting a new exhaust and a wideband sensor fitted (NTK, LZA09-E1)
My car is a Lotus Elise S2 converted whit an Honda K20Z4 engine using an Kpro v4.
I am using an PRB calibration, and will be using the wideband sensor as a replacement of the OEM sensor (is possible whit Kpro4 ?)
https://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/i ... deband.htm Is this the correct wiring ?
https://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/i ... input2.htm Should be set to " use analog input 0" (correct?)
https://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/i ... meters.htm Closed Loop Parameters;
Closed Loop Operation, set to " external wideband - Kpro input....)
Closed Loop Options, all tickboxes empty
Short Term Trim, unsure, lower value's should be safer considering i have a good base map ?
Narrowband Settings, leave at defaults ?
Closed Loop to Open Loop Switch - load, leave at defaults?
Closed Loop to Open Loop Switch - TPS, leave at defaults?
https://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/i ... meters.htm Analog Inputs;
Details;
input: Analog 0
Name: Lambda
Conversion: wideband NGK AFX (please confirm)
Type Air fuel ratio, unit Air fuel ratio (default)
Voltage offset, 0 (default)
Smoothing: none
Custom input, to be used if conversion NGK AFX can not be used whit sensor LZA09-E1
Anything else to take into account?
Best regards,
Thomas
Wideband confirmation
Re: Wideband confirmation
Could not find the " edit post' button hence the reply to my own post;
Does anyone know what each wire on the LZA09-E1 sensor is for?
It's not defined in the instructions and google has come up empty so far.
Best Regards,
Thomas

Re: Wideband confirmation
Do you have a wideband kit or just a wideband sensor?
Re: Wideband confirmation
IT will not work with just the sensor. You need to use a wideband controller kit. We recommend the PLX devices wideband kits.
Re: Wideband confirmation
Thank you Spunkster, I think you saved us a lot of time trying to get this to work.
Unfortunately the PLX SM-AFR sensor module does not seem to be in stock here in NL at the moment.
So i guess i will have to run the stock lambda sensor for a bit longer.
Am i correct that the PLX SM AFR sensor module should work whit any wideband sensor including the L2H2/LZA09-E1 ?
Or would you recommend buying the PLX SM AFR including a wideband sensor?

Re: Wideband confirmation
You need to use the sensor that the PLX kit is designed for. Most PLX kits come with a sensor.
Re: Wideband confirmation
If you are using a PRB ECU and PRB calibration, why not use the PRB OEM O2 sensor? It is a wideband in every sense of the word, and will permit every function/capability of an aftermarket (PLX or other) wideband system.
