Cut signal for flat shift

Hi, I have a cut signal which is (pulled up to 5v,pulls to ground for duration of cut) was wondering if E16 or E29 can take the 5v ?

Yes, 5V or 12V will not harm those inputs. I would check that 5V is enough to switch off the input though.
