Dear Hondata,

Whats the procedure to update the ecu of hondata.
Download the mapping in the new version of 3.2.0?
Then save the mapping again and reupload it?

Are these new fixes applied then automatically or how to I need to understand this?

You should already have the calibration saved on your laptop. Then just upload it to the ECU using the new version of software.

Same problem here with 3.2.1 on a Windows 7 netbook.

Easy to reproduce.

1> Start Kmanager 3.2.1 (no need to connect to ECU)
2> Button 'New Calibration'
3> Select 'Civic Type R (European) - PRA'
4> Select any of these, eg. k20a2-civictyper-factory.kal
5> Press 'OK'

Error window pops up: 'Could not load C:\Program Files\KManager\Calibrations\k20a2-civictyper-factory.kal'

Same error when opening a pre-existing KAL file.

It WILL, however, select and open a new PRB, PND and PNF calibration.

Perhaps some parsing issue with PRA (or non-PRB) KAL files?

Oh.. And KManager crashes after you try to open a PRA (and it fails) and then you select the 'Tables' button.

Probably because the data wasn't read properly and it's trying to display/process garbage data.

Bye, Arno.

Version 3.2.0 is working fine for me, i suggest not upgrading it meanwhile for PRA ecus.

We try to fix problems rather than create them. Why do you need to use an earlier version of the software?

You need to have your calibration loaded and datalog to be able to calibrate it. Then when you are done you must upload the calibration to the ECU.
