Superseded ECU Part Number

I work at a Acura Dealership and Im looking into purchasing a new ECU for my 06 TSX 6sp to reflash. The original part number of 37820-RBB-A04 has superseded to 37820-RBB-316. Is this new part number ok to reflash?

You will have to connect a scan tool and read the calibration ID and report back.
