tranny mod

Post by bckwld »

hey i have an h22 swap with the h22 ecu in my 94 accord, the car is still an auto but there is 1 problem i can't figure out how to get by. I still have the accord transmission controller so it shifts at 6200rpm instead of the H22's 7200rpm redline. I can only get to 7200 when i manual shift it. Is there anything out there that can change my shift points to match?? any help would be greatly appreciated.thanx

You may try to run the Prelude SI A/T ECU since its the only other controller that is available for use on your application.

You could also send off both controllers to hondata and have them figure out the differences. However, I do believe that the difference would be from internal software changes rather than a simple resistor or jumper switch differences. In the long run you would be much better off converting to a gearbox and get rid of the automatic-slip mission.
