k24a2 into 98 integra HELP!

Post by bvera »

WARNING:I am 19 just trying to fix up my car. I am an over thinker so super thorough explanations would be helpful. Thanks for your time and patience!
Car: 98' integra
Swap: k24a2 6 speed (Stock)
02-04 rsx engine harness
k-tuned conversion harness
*Have a k-tune immobilizer (last swap)
*Planned kpro'd 37820-PND-a08 eu

I have a 1998 Acura Integra swapping a k24a2 from an 05 tsx. I was told to swap the TB, knock and crank sensor from a k20a/2/3 use an 02-04 rsx harness, proper conversion harness and to load a k24 calibration on a kpro'd ecu.
I plan to send in a 37820-PND-a08 will I be able to load a k24 map to this ecu?

Also, might be a dumb question but what do the "x" mean? (image attached)

Also, since the car is a 98' I still need to pass emissions. Would this in anyway help me with emissions? Or does that all just matter on me doing things properly?

Super appreciative of anyone trying to help me out!

Yes you can use that ECU and load whatever calibration and then tune as you need to.

The X's indicate that it supports that function.

We cannot assist with emissions as the K-Pro is for Race vehicle only that will not be driven on public roads.

Thank you! Hondata form asks for vehicle VIN do I provide my vehicle or donor motor VIN?
Ecu came from an rsx
Motor from a 04 tsx
So I have possible three vins assuming I can get the vin from the Rsx.

Received my hondata now have a couple of questions.
1.) Do I still need the immobilizer bypass?
2.) What are the additional cables(GC98401158) for?
3.) Can I choose the PRB vehicle type even though the ecu is a PND? Only option that contains the tsx 05 basemap.

You can disable the immobilizer in the calibration.

Yes you can use the PRB calibration in a PND ECU.
