I had a similar problem years ago when I first installed my B16 Set up. Everything was stock. Engine dies randomly. It turned out to be a faulty distributor. We didn't clean the distributor when we first installed it so it ruined the rotor caps. Turned out that the distributor bearings were rusted a...

I think it is best to post pictures of your system and dyno graph. We tuned two turbo cars yesterday. THe B16Aturbo made 228WHP and 170+ torque. Stock b16 ENGINE boosted to 7 psi. The other car was a 1600SOHC and it made 206WHP and 180+ torque. All this on the dynojet. All I could say was that the e...

Yes you can use it.

However, who is your tuner?
Where do you live?

It doesn't have one in the software.

Try changing the values in the device manager.

I wouldn't worry about it though. I think you should use the sensor overlay option. It would be more accurate.

try changing your settings like refresh rates and sampling rates. that might help. Your wideband does the same thing. but it has a built in buffer so that the readings slow down and you can get useful info. My plx M300 does the same thing the readings are so fast that it gets confusing. but lambda o...

Let me break down what Hondata said. You can use the NLR map sensor for HONDATA. You need two map sensors for the system you are trying to make. EX. 2 NLR map sensors (1 for boost controller and 1 for S300) 1 NLR Map sensor(boost controller) and 1 MOTEC 5 bar map sensor(s300) 1 NLR Map sensor(boost ...

Sometimes it is difficult to troubleshoot when two things happens at the same time. In your case leaning out and VSS shorted.

Enjoy your ride.

I could think of two causes for your problem. Is the s100 blinking when you turn on the ignition? Should be a steady light. 1. It could be a bad rom image. Did your dealer install a basemap? 2. You forgot to remove J12(USDM) or J4(JDM) in the ECU. When you turn on the ignition, the Hondata rom will ...

Motec and MSD has this kind of traction control which is activated by a switch.

You set activation RPM and rise rate in terms of rpm/sec.

It is a great idea for first gear. I dunno if it's plausible.

MACBOOK and HONDATA

For those dying to use MAC for tuning their Hondas, I was able to successfully use MACBOOK for tuning my car using my S300.

The notebook that I used had a dual boot system. 1 windows XP and 1 Mac OS. The hard drive was partitioned for 20GB windows XP and 60GB Mac OS.

personally, i think it's not needed. you can manually playback the run using scroll keys. I usually look at datalogs at points needed. first, I take a look a/f ratios then work my way from there.

you can look at the whole picture in graph mode.

It does look like you have a bad soldering ing the ECU. Intermittent problem. Have it resoldered and it sounds like it will be fine.
