Re: Stock maps for b18c, h22a
Sucks you guys were never able to get the S300 to work with the P13 ECU. Any reason why?

Re: Stock maps for b18c, h22a
I've always been curious about the prelude.skl file and how close it was to factory since everyone claims that you can't do anything with the P13 I'd imagine it isn't the file directly off of one. Probably just a bone stock prelude where they tried to get it as close as possible.

Re: H22 newbie calibration
Pretty sure it was at 5500. The only time moving it around actually helps is if you've done some internal engine changes but for just bolt on's leaving the crossover at the stock setting tends to work the best.

Re: H22 newbie calibration
Whoever you bought the ECU from likely had the ELD set originally as the wideband input and cut the resistors from the board. I'd keep the VTEC where it was, probably making the car slower by having it that low but it is a different manifold and to get the crossover perfect you really need a dyno. T...

Re: H22 newbie calibration
Should double check that ground, maybe the splice or butt connector you used is no good, also splice the brown analog(-) to the thermostat as well rather than running it to sensor ground like the directions suggest. This is what I did and I only have a 0.2v offset which is ideal.

Re: H22 newbie calibration
Yikes, can see why it doesn't wanna run right, low speed map is all kinds of wrong. Looks like you also messed with the ignition timing map which you should have just left alone. I also notice that you have a -1.5V offset for the wideband input, that's way too much and the reading is going to be ina...

Re: S300 knock sensor goes full retard..
Ah well I don't have the 2 boards in front of me to compare but I do know that each board is calibrated to the engine. Taking the board from the P13 would be the most sure fire way to know that it is picking up knock and not any normal mechanical noise the engine creates. I want to try to find a P13...

Re: S300 knock sensor goes full retard..
The old Honda ecu knock boards are configured SPECIFICALLY for the engine in which they ran from the factory so even if this ECU was working right on a B16A engine it will not read knock correctly on a H22A. If you wanted to run a closed loop knock it'd be best to find a P13 ECU and attempt to take ...

Need to know where you've placed the power and ground wires as well as probably posting the calibration since some of the settings are likely not right.

VTEC Pressure values
Is there any way to reverse this value? I want to have it set up like the Honda HDS software, I want it to show as "ON" when on the low cam as the pressure switch is closed and "OFF" when the VTEC solenoid is "ON" as oil pressure is no longer high enough in the spool va...

Re: Tuning for better fuel economy
Pretty sure by default the SManager software creates a folder under /USER/Documents/S300 Calibrations/ and doesn't save to the location of the premade calibrations. As far as tuning and trying to make the engine more efficient, need to replace that wideband, it's the only way but it can't be tuned a...

Re: Stock F20b basemap?
The stock "prelude.skl" file should get you pretty close, the only things you should need to change before starting up is the injector size and dead times to match what you're using. From there it's likely all you'd have to do is do some datalogging and trim the fuel tables some as it's ju...

Re: Target Lambda table
That table in the closed loop advanced window is a bit too broad of an adjustment. I wanted to go into the tables window>"show target lambda" and adjust the idle and light throttle cruise so that it targets something a tad leaner like 15:1 but when I tried to alter the numbers it just adju...

Launch control questions
Are there any basic guidelines for setting this up? Just curious about the RPM target in relation to where the VTEC crossover is for a given engine. Wondering because I wouldn't want to damage the rockers or anything like that by having it attempt to switch to the high cam at a high RPM. Also curiou...
