Same location as the stock one. If I recall it correctly, it's in the #1 and 3 primaries. EQUAL LENGTH MANIFOLD. It's a pain to install.

You could install the 3B with no problems in your P72. However, you can't use the p28 Chip in the P72. You would need a dealer to burn a basemap for your P72 ECU. Don't scrimp on the tuning part. I saw a cracked cylinder wall just because it wasn't tuned right. and don't forget not all engines are t...

I'm not sure if I understand the question. But you cant use a P28 Hondata rom in a P72 ECU. You need a P72 ROM with a basemap from any ECU. Then tuning it on the dyno is very important.

Have you read this?

By wide band O2, Do you mean FJO or motec. You haven't mentioned much about O2 readings.

Also you could datalog A/F ratio readings. The car might be lean at idle vacuums. the reason for low idle.

It would be hard to understand if we don't talk on the same language. itr-hybrid, Compare the VTEC solenoid of the OBD1 cars and OBD2 cars. You'll notice that there is no Vtec pressure switch output in the OBD2 solenoid. But OBD1 ECU's need this signal. Just follow either Derek or Cresent's instruct...

[quote="hybridsol"]What? "Target Idle" doesn't appear in my Hondalogger software (rev 2.1) on the sensor page. Was there an update?

You need a wideband O2 and retune your maps. You need to get hold of a HC tester.

Most likely it was caused by detonation or the timing is too much for your engine which caused extreme pressures in the cylinder.

Buy a Hondata and tune your car on the dyno or with a Wideband O2. You'd be surprised how much more power you will gain when the car is tuned properly. :D
