The program itself won't teach you. The help files give you a good push in the right direction, but there are several videos out on YouTube, etc. that show how to tune. But you really have to understand what's going on in the engine as well. If you really know nothing, then I just advise a dyno or ...

I'm not sure what you're getting at. Are you asking why the stock computer doesn't already do what the FlashPro does?

Dyno tune advised?

Got a quick question... We're doing a Kraftwerks supercharger (high boost) on a '07 S2000, as well as Mugen headers and exhaust. Just wondering if a dyno tune is advised, or if the reflash that comes with the kit would be good enough for street driving. Closest dyno is roughly 200 miles away from us...

I didn't notice any change in the top end sound of my vehicle. I'm running ... header, intake, and exhaust. I *did* notice that VTEC didn't roar into it's phase. I can hear it go into VTEC for sure, but just not to the extreme whaaa...WHAAAA that it did before. More like...WhaaaaaAAAAAAAA...yeah, if...

Remove the cold air assist valve and your car will fire right up like stock. I pulled mine out and it is perfect.. I was even able to pull the 5% cranking fuel out and it starts even better now. Here's a link to the thread that shows you exactly what to do. http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/ecu-tuning...

Terrible :) 22mpg on the highway on my last trip, don't even bother tracking in town driving. But I deal with -20 degree temps right now, so the car idles a TON which kills the mileage.

I was kind of wondering about this as well. I have to be careful with my datalogging to make sure the file doesn't get too large. Otherwise it'll overload my pagefile while I'm trying to upload it to my computer, basically freezing my computer.

I noticed mine get a little loose when I first got my FlashPro and hadn't mastered the technique to get the adapter in and out of the port at that angle with ease. I've heard of other guys having loose connecting ports, but never of anybody having the actual data stream break up. Does the issue only...

thanks for your help. As much as I enjoy your product your attitude could use some work. When I post in the forums, I'm looking for other users to help me out for the most part. If we can't figure it out, we patiently wait for Hondata to post their response. But I'm pretty sure you can email them (...

Launch Limiter Questions

Just a quick (possibly stupid) question...when I'm launching my car, my A/F ratios get to about 29-30 while it's bouncing off the limiter (mine is sitting at 3500 due to all season tires). I don't forsee any way to correct this. Any chance this is harming the engine? I'm only launching it a couple t...

We increase the over rev threshold along with the rev limiter, so you will not set the over rev code if you increase the rev limit over stock. Awesome, thanks for the info. I appreciate the fact that you guys have not only our "Flashpro" forums to look after, but many others as well. So t...
