Re: SManager software requests

I agree with skullbasher (a couple posts back) about the quick spool feature. I'd like to be able to use for low and high boost as well. My car is dual mapped for pump gas and E-85 with different boost and timing tables. I cannot use the quick spool feature because the secondary map switch cannot al...

Re: Full Throttle Shift and not using Launch control

I think Spunkster hit the nail on the head with what I've been trying to say/change... Having FTS work at any speed makes it impossible to 2 step at the staging lights at the track. There should be an arming MPH for it. There is no reason anyone would want to FTS below 20MPH. If there is, let me know.

Re: Full throttlle shift

I use 26" slicks and thus launch at a high Launch Control and Boost level (6,700RPM,15+LBS), however, I dont spin my engine very high (8,200ish RPM) and my shifts fall low with the not-close-ratio Prelude transmission... Is there a way to make the LC override FTS below a set MPH??? Maybe make the FT...

Re: Full throttlle shift

It seems that the priority goes to the FTS rev limit and the Launch Control never activates when Launch Control is set to always on and FTS is wired only with the clutch switch. Is there a way to make the FTS not activate until a certain speed (after the burnout rev limit and the Launch Control RPM)...

Re: SManager 2.2.0 (beta)

I always run the most recent version of the software, either the beta or the production version. I check for updates on a weekly basis. I tried 2.2.0 on two different cars (both with the most recent software prior to 2.2.0) One is S300v1 with a very low serial number (~300ish) The other car has v2 a...

Re: SManager 2.2.0 (beta)

It was lean protection 1 that had changed. I don't have the calibration, I changed it as soon as I noticed it was not boost and PSI, it had changed to kpa. The help file said to make the setting 100% for the TPS, I noticed the note in the help mentioning 99% file now, they do say different things......

Re: SManager 2.2.0 (beta)

Uploaded again to 2.2.0 and the same thing happened, no start. Uploaded again right after that like previous post and car started. After going through all the tables I found that lean protection had changed on me I set it back to where I want it and all is good. I've attached a log from the crank bu...

Re: SManager 2.2.0 (beta)

I uploaded the 2.2.0 and now my car wont start. My guess is the security locked it out, it cranks, sometimes fires and imediatley dies. I've tried uploading with the TPS security disabled and all other set to not be used (brake, etc) and still nothing. ****UPDATE**** I went back to 2.1.0.0 and the c...

Re: SManager software requests

Can a help file be added to the Beta version for the closed loop advanced, this looks like something that will be awesome! Also, have the capability to change from the mbar values to show vacuumm and boost in inches, PSI from atmospheric. Thanks!

Re: SManager software requests

Yes please add secondary quick boost tables. Right now I have to load different maps when switching fuels, before quick spool was added, I didnt have to. (it does spool faster with quick spool) I want my cake and eat it too!

Re: SManager V2-1-1 (beta)

So I have tried and discovered that even if I set boost control (by gear) for a fixed limit, the quick spool overrides it. Is there a way to override the quick spool and use the boost control as the limiting factor. I cannot currently use 2 different maps and thus 2 different boost settings while ke...

Re: Boost solenoid frequency

Agreed, you have to find what works best for your set up. I have a 7lb spring on a 44mm WG and can go up to 30lbs. I use 20Hz and have great resolution to control boost in diferent gears and in different envrionmental conditions. This has worked in VA at sea level and in CO at 6,200ft. and from 115 ...

Re: SManager software requests

I would like to have 2 seperate boost cuts---one for primary and secondary tables, or linked to the low and high boost tables? I'm going to push it a little and ask for 2 quick spool tables as well, and have it possible to set them to the same switch that changes to secondary tables similar as the l...
