I think A17 is just an on or off circuit. You need a variable output for PWM.AREA876 wrote:I would love to see Boost Control (PWM) enable through output A17 (IAB) for a JDM ECU

Re: Coil Pack Retrofit
But, but... I want a custom low profile black or orange anodized one. I cut the end of the distributor shaft down so it is flush with the top of the upper reluctor to make the dizzy as low profile as possible.locash wrote:Distributor covers are. :)

Re: Coil Pack Retrofit
Here's my somewhat less glamorous solution to cleaning up the engine bay. Locash, if you decide you want to CNC this piece, let me know. I'll send it to you. Base for the mod is a D16Z6 distributor, so I don't know if the cap fits many applications or not. I also cut the tip off the distributor shaf...

Re: Coil Pack Retrofit
Luke, You are correct. I plan to make something special to clean up the engine bay. You could go nuts and do something like this: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y177/trubluvtec/EG6%20Tank/BilletDizzyAssy.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y177/trubluvtec/EG6%20Tank/EG6Tank-COP01.jpg http://honda...

Re: Coil Pack Retrofit
Will base timing still be adjusted by rotating the distributor? If the base firing/timing is not being controlled by the phasing of the rotor to the #1 terminal in the distributor cap, I am struggling to comprehend how to set the base timing.

Larry from Endyn used to suggest 3% extra fuel for #3. That's what I run.

Re: SManager V1.5.2 beta
My experience and observations echo what V-spec has said. Never before when downloading newer versions of SManager have I had to go "searching" to find my calibrations and datalogs. They have always been in the same folder that opens when I click on the open calibration (file) button. I ha...

Re: SManager V1.5.2 beta
Do a Windows file search for files using the search string *.s3d for datalogs and *.skl for your calibrations. Windows will find all the occurences of those file extensions on your hard drive. Then just move those files from the folder where they are found to the folder that SManager uses for files.

Re: SManager V1.5.2 beta
They were somehow in some really obscure folder where I have never stored them before. I simply did a search on *.s3d and *.skl. Windows did the rest. The folder where I found them had no other calibration or datalog files, whereas in the past all the files came up in the window when clicking on the...

Re: SManager V1.5.2 beta
Well I did a search and found my files. However, this has never been an issue before. Something about this latest version prevented SManager from showing the existing files in the "normal" selection window when opening a calibration or datalog file.

Re: SManager V1.5.2 beta
Windows 7
Personal calibrations are not visible in Windows Explorer
Personal calibrations are not visible in Hondata (seem to have been erased with install of 1.5.2)
I was previously running 1.5.1 (made some small tweaks to the tune here and there).
My datalogs are "gone" as well.

Re: SManager V1.5.2 beta
Same here. The S300 base calibrations are there, but the saved calibrations and the datalogs from the last couple years are gone. I take comfort in knowing they're still there V-spec, but I'm unsure how to revert back to a previous version of the software.

Just for fun, I went looking in Smanager for the settings. I opened the Parameters window, and clicked the Misc tab. I do not see it. I've just updated to 1.5.0, and I can't find it. Am I jumping the gun? I was left with the impression that it was a part of Smanager starting with one of the older ve...
